Lomography

If anyone had followed my tweets very closely, you will be able to guess that I am suddenly very interested in lomography.

I have seen these cameras around for quite a while actually but do not know exactly how and when to use it.
So the interest actually came when I saw this model.

Sweet, chic and of cos damn cute!

Lomo effect is actually a picture distortion.
Initially when I first saw those kind of pictures, I thought it is really sweet until every kind of image justified itself being 'lomo-ed'

So I understand when there was a school of thought who did not like the idea of Lomography. To the more professional photographers, it is such a disgrace. It is true because a lot of photographs today are tweaked to look not like what it is, which is why a true blue photographer is one who shoots using film.
SLR they call it.

But anyway, I figured that there is no need to purchase a Diana camera until photo enthusiasts on twitter told me that Photoshop does not do Lomo justice.
We just need to get hold of the real thing.

Now, that statement just made me want to do anything to satisfy my curiosity.
I did a few read ups, watched a few videos and then I got myself so interested.

Now I am looking for a good shop where I can purchase the one I put up above.

Sometimes I feel that my passion is just out to kill me.
Photography. Food. Shopping.
