"Salam Mima, hope you & your family are doing well. Thinking of you here @ Mount Everest base camp, Tibet. Alhamdulilah, i'm doing well here but freezing. Here's my pic & background of Mount Everest. Hope you can see this MMS. Send my salam to your parents & Ein. *hugs & kisses*"
That is my girlfriend of 7 years.
We have never quite been in touch unless we get some time together like every quarter of the year.
We can even count the number of times we call each other.
But nonetheless, she is truly a friend. One who listens to my never-endless story without interrupting. A friend who had never been judgemental of me. A friend I know that when I call for help, she will try her means and ways to reach me.
I was having another birthday dinner at Carousel with the fiance's other family of 11 and did not expect this MMS to come in.
When I did, god knows how much it has touched my heart.
Sue, I pray you are safe in Tibet.
Come home safe.
Just like you, this trip, I do miss you too. Something must have made us bonded a bit more because I thought of you the same day you did.
Whatever it is, I am glad to have you as my friend.
xoxo,
