So those who have been waiting for updates on the High Tea event, here we go.
Held at Lagun Sari, where the majority of the Malay society in Singapore chooses to hold their weddings here.
I would give it a pass as I find the place a bit crampy.

But nevertheless, the crampy space was good for the event so the guests can't walk too far and so it was easier for me and Lil' Sis to snap photos of them.

Me and Lil' Sis were separated from the rest of the family.
It was a last minute arrangement remember?

Food was not bad for a price of $35 though it got a bit warm due to the number of people attended.
The only thing I didnt like really was the choice for the Master of Ceremony.
His sarcasm sooo tak agak agak ok and what I didn't know is that he is actually the Deejay for one of our local Malay radio station.

So here are the bits and pieces of the events that happen.

A preview of the last episode of Season 1 of Cinta Fitri which probably all the makciks find so basi already cos they went all out to get additional cable to be in sync with the Indonesians who are already beginning with their Season 3!!!



A girl who was asked by Teuku himself to kiss him 10 times.
She was so excited and after the high tea, we cheekily congratulated her and she sampai menangis

Hahaha!



There was a girl who managed to grab Teuku from the front and hug him so tight.
Guess what the MC said,"Eh anak yang dapat pelik, mak dier yang happy!"

Teuku managed to be pushed to wear I stood and we ended up face to face.
My reaction?
I swear to God, I stood right in front of him, with my camera in my hand like a stone. Only wide eyed.
He held out his hands to his fans who were around me but I so tak terpikir want to hold out mine.

Syukur.. kalau tak, kena panchong kepala gue.

Can you imagine, even when he needed to go to the loo, all the ladies rushed to take his picture.
Ya Allah!
We on the other hand just wanted to take a snapshot of the whole chaos.







Here were the rest of the pictures that we managed to capture.





































Here were the candid of our excited mom and aunty.
They were calling out for the DJ to pass the microphone to them. Me and Lil' Sis were just giggling looking at them.













They were so contented after sneaking up just to say hello to Shireen.







The great thing was that our baby cousin stayed around us cos she could get a good view from where we are.
She gets to stand on the chair without anyone having to make so much noise while me and Lil' Sis were armed with 5 and 4-inch heels respectively.
It was such an advantage while taking photos and we just need to bend over for a close-up. At the same time, there were also a lot of these kakaks and makciks who keeps saying,"Awak ni tinggi sangat la. Kita pun nak tengok tau."

So here were us:





































And guess what, I told my baby cousin to slowly walk to the front where Shireen and Teuku were seated and get their autograph.
Something which she came for.
Then she said,"But Kakak Intan, can you follow me?"
I laughed and said,"No la.. I am too tall. The people around us will see and shoo us back to our seats."

I urged her to go and she was so shy.
So me and Lil' Sis stood from where we sat so that whenever, she turned, she could see us and we would give her the thumbs-up sign every time she did.

The result?
She even made those who sat at my table so happy. They took photographs of Teuku and Shireen's autographs.
And of course, she was the happiest girl.







After the event and the chuckling and the giggles, we did make friends and managed to snap a group photo of those who shared the same table as us.







On another note, its coming to the completion of 4 days of fasting.
Fast isn't it?
Somehow I feel pretty challenged by the daily trials and tribulations during this month. But will take it with an open heart and lots of patience hopefully.

On another note, I feel excited as if good things are bound to happen.
I shall not raise my hopes high but will only pray that Lady Luck is on my side.
Insya Allah.

Just 26 more days to go before raya which means that I have to start spring cleaning this weekend.
And just thinking of that suddenly makes me feel so sleepy.
