Sponsored: Coloured Contact Lenses

Tuesday, October 18, 2011

Before I begin, I just needed to declare this.
I have a super good reason to camwhore and do not feel guilty about it and post it up on my blog.

*lol*

If you notice, I have been shying away from camwhoring alone. Whenever I hold the camera, I will take pictures of someone else or something else and never myself.
So when my husband saw me taking loads of pictures, trying to get the right angle, he wondered what had gotten into me!

*lol*lol*

I was also excited when informed out of the blue that I was going to be sponsored with coloured contact lenses.
Firstly, I am so blind like a bat and my husband keeps forgetting that. He will ask me to see this and that especially when I just showered and I need to grope around for my specs.
Sometimes, I even seek his help to see my 'eyes' because I can't see them.

Hee hee hee.

I have been with contact lenses since I was 18. That makes it 11 years.
Alhamdulillah so far no infection whatsoever and I hope to keep it that way.

However, I limit myself with very few colours only because I am not very sure if I can carry the other colours.
I stay away from black contacts too because i think they look scary on me.

So you can usually see me in brown, grey and green of which in many occasions people thought I am of mixed heritage.
They are not wrong anyway.
*chuckles*

I used to purchase my coloured contact lenses in Malaysia because it is cheaper based on the exchange rate.
Thanks to Facebook, I no longer have to. I can easily get Korean lenses, cheaper prices and bigger diameter.
Yes, bigger diameter so that I have bambi eyes. So that when I bat my eyes to my husband, he will say ok.

So here were the lenses sponsored.

I love how it looks translucent it looks around the pupil. I feel like those Japanese cartoon girls you know.
Yes, the diameter is bigger than our normal pupil.
Ever since I started wearing big-eye contact lenses, I cannot imagine going out with my small pupils.
But then again there are days when I just do because I am wearing my specs.

Here is Windy Brown.
The lenses really swirl like a wind. I was wondering if I could carry these kind of lenses.
To my amazement, I did! In fact, it is now my current favourite! :)

If they are already ready stocks, you can actually get these for just $18, and that includes free registered mail and a free lens casing!
God knows how hard it is to get contact lens casing individually in pharmacies.

For pre-orders, there is a better deal.
The more you buy, the cheaper it gets.

1 pair costs $15 each
2 pairs at $14 each
3 to 4 pairs at $13 each and
5 pairs or more for $12 each

I made a purchase with her previously and I am happy with the purchase.
You can add Art Iqah on Facebook and place your orders with her!

Of course, if you need any help, you can let me know or drop a comment to this entry!
Love to sponsor?
Email me!

xoxo,
