I thought of taking it easy at work today.
Take my time to head to the office.
When Lil' Sis got out of the shower, I saw her bending down, eyes so watery and out of breath.
"I am having a bad asthma."
I rummaged through our handbags for the inhaler and gave it to her.
"Do you need me to call the ambulance?"
But she shook her head.
So I told her that she is not going to work and ask her to slowly get ready so I can bring her to the doctor.
I have yet to shower.
My laptop was still unpacked.
I rushed in the bathroom, contemplating to wash my hair, what was I going to do with my 3 morning appointments and how I was going to plan the sequence to get my sister to the doc soonest.
Asthma is no fun.
I am a victim of it and I know how it feels like to be breathing for your life.
Plus she was tearing and weak, meaning that it was hard to breathe.
I told myself to calm down because in time when I have children, I will be in a bigger challenge.
All my meetings were quickly shifted to later this afternoon or tomorrow morning.
Alhamdulillah the clinic was empty when we got there and managed to put her on the neubuliser almost immediately.
After the whole ordeal, her breathing was better and then she said to me that she was hungry and dehydrated.
My poor baby.
She is home now resting and I made sure that she has 2 days of MC.
On a lighter note, I was lying in bed before the whole episode, rubbing my tummy saying,"Sayang... please give mummy a kick. I want to feel you inside there."
I repeated myself a couple more times and I gave up and said,"Perut mummy tebal sangat eh?"
*lol*
