Halfway there

My parents were away on a honeymoon for 2 weeks to Italy.
While I was looking forward to rest & relax, there were a lot of things in my head.

First was the photoshoot I did for Her Closet.
There was a new face, tons of clothes and hijab to take pictures.
Photoshoots are always very tiring.
Nonetheless, I do have a very good photographer with me.
My husband.

You can count on him to lighten up atmospheres and keep the girls upbeat through the 3 hours of photoshoot.

Our group shot

It is a culture of Her Closet to always take group shots for keepsake.

Then there was the packing that we needed to do.
My room is becoming all cluttered.
It did not help with the oncoming stocks and that we have bought quite a number of things for the new house.

Quickly we arranged to purchase boxes and pack as many things as we can.
We only left clothes behind enough for a month and of course our Hari Raya things in case we do not have enough time to move.

My husband told me to put my handbags in a box.
"But I want to use them," I replied.
"All of them?"
"Yes, all of them. Ok maybe not all.. but I dont know which one will be for Hari Raya and which these are my bags to work."
"Can't you bring one bag to work? Just use your black Prada to suit all outfit."
"Of course not. It will not suit all my outfits!"

So I managed to negotiate with the husband to leave behind 10 bags!
Of which are the only bags I remember purchasing.
*lol*

Despite having flu, I managed to help the husband pack some of his things while he was helping his adopted family shift their things as they were moving out of their 4 storey terrace
(Imagine the number of things they had to move!It took them 3 whole weekends!)

I had the maid to help me with mine.
Occassionally I will stop and nap (for 4 hours!) because I was just so tired!
I did not know if it was the medicine kicking in or it was just the pregnancy that got me really exhausted.

So here are our things in the storage!
We will continue to move some more things little by little but the bulk is already in here.

Plus, I needed to do it when the house is empty.
Else it will be very emotional for all.

In fact, the Lil' Sister locked herself up in her room and refused to help when I was packing.

The parents are coming home tonight.
Everything is back at its normal pace.
Except for the emptier room, I do not think anyone will be able to sense anything.
