Ushering in the new year this time around is different.
Mom and Lil' Sis are in UAE with my brother and SIL which leaves the day with Alfi, Daddy and myself.
Me and Alfi planned out something nice and not quite hectic for daddy.
Since daddy has been the one planning and running around for the ladies over the past many years, it is a good time for me to take up the role, now that I can easily get some help.
It is really simple.
I managed to get visitor's tickets for both the husband and daddy to watch the fireworks from my office.
We parked our cars at Paragon and I gave dad 2 options on where he would like to have dinner.
Fish & Co. or Sakura International Buffet.
Dinner at Sakura International Buffet at Cairnhill.
He picked the latter, we paid $34 per head only for it to be utter disappointing.
The eatery really stink of cooked food.
The presentation of the food is utterly messy which makes it look dirty.
Cups were not washed properly.
After sipping my coffee, I was shocked to see a pink lipstick mark.
I was thinking,"When did I purchase this colour lipstick?" only to find out that that was not mine and I was not even wearing lipstick in the first place.
Horrible!
Not going to visit the second time!
The three of us took the train down to Raffles Place and walked over.
People were already draining their energy in good spirit of the New Year.

Though simple, it is a lovely start to the New Year.
Watching the fireworks in the husband's arms and also being able to entertain my dearest daddy.
I thank God that I am blessed.
