Canon Powershot S95 was announced in the 3rd quarter last year.
I was so excited with its launch soon after the S90 but the husband told me to hold my dollar and not jump into the purchase.
Plus his justification was that nothing beats DSLRs, which is true.
And guess what happen last night?
The husband just decided to be generous and said,"Baby, do you want an advanced birthday present?"
His baby just gleam la.
*lol*
That is me la!
Advance tak advance, bottom line, who can say no to gifts.
Plus he knew that I have been wanting to have a compact camera for the longest time and have been going around asking for reviews.
So he told me over our late night coffee date to read the reviews of my choices.
While he was asleep, I was on the internet searching and reading till past 4am.
Then I rolled over to my sleeping husband and said,"I want an S95."
"What camera is that?"
"Canon"
I swear to god I could not sleep that night.
Woke the husband again at 10 and then a few times after that pestering him to bring me to the camera shop.
When we reached there, I gave the salesman my choices.
Canon PowerShot S95, Canon PowerShot G12 and Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX5.
Apparently it was a no-brainer for him and pulled out a Powershot S95.
Canon PowerShot S95 & Canon PowerShot G12 has not much difference except that the latter has quick dials which you can quickly set for pictures and longer battery life.
Else the difference is too minimal.
Canon POwershot S95 is the slimmest among the semi pro in a shirt pocket size.
I was hyperventilating in the store and had to take out my inhaler to let my air passage open up and breathe.
Horrid!
I told the salesman to charge my battery for a while so that I can do shots for today.
I bought so many accessories for the camera and our Canon 500D.
Its crazy.
But I went out like one 'jakun' girl.
The husband was really kind to have my battery charged even longer.
Here are the shots taken.
Pictures with low ISO are really fantastic.
ISO 1600 and ISO3200 is bearable with no zoom.
I am getting the hang of the manual functions and love the feeling of being in control.
Thank you for making me happy girl.
(I never lentok like this before ok laki!)
So yeah, the husband bought me a Canon Powershot S95 with cool casing and great features and he presented himself a Canon IXUS 130 for work.
Now each of us has a DSLR & a compact each.
This time around, we decided not to lug the DSLR to Medan during Chinese New Year.
It shall be the compact companion.
*excited*
Thank you my husband.
Love you so much!
Tak sia-sia kahwin dengan you!
*lol*
