When I started the work force at the age of 22, I was doing a 5.5 day work week.
I was doing front line customer service so work was truly merciless.
Then, less than 2 years later, I moved to IBM with a 5-day work week.
Client interfacing but in a more professional approach.
Or should I say customers being customers and having the right to be demanding, they do not shout like how you can find in Service Centres.
Bottom line, I naik lemak already with my 5-day work week.
Those days when I was single, I will sleep through my whole Sat and Sun morning and wake up thanking god that there is no need to rush, though sometimes I do wake up on a Saturday morning rushing thinking that is it a Friday.
When I shifted work, one of my criteria was to have 5-day work week.
Yes, very melampau I have to admit.
Here in Microsoft, working hours are more flexible and it is still leisure days on Sat & Sun.
I obtained work and life balance here.
Truly!
I stop bringing laptops home unless there is a customer meeting the following morning.
Ok, I am just so long-winded like that.
Can't blame me.. it is in the blood.
*lol*
Imagine how my husband needs to put up with me.
Bottom like is this:
Christmas and New Year falls on a Saturday.
So that will mean 2 days off-in-liew for me!!!
Looking forward to spend time with the husband while the mommy & lil sister is off to UAE to visit brother and SIL on Christmas through New Year.
:)
Local Honeymoon.
*lol*
Happy Holidays everyone!
