I had a late Friday night in the office and work phone call during the weekend.
No complains, but proud of myself that I have learnt to put things at the back of my head till the weekend was over.

Monday was no different.
Another late stay in the office despite Boss being on leave and I could have just worked from home in the afternoon.
No choice when you have things to see to completion phase and the certain escalations have come in my hand because of the tight dateline.

Not as bad as Lovie though who had to camp over the weekend in the office and had a long day on Monday too. But at least when he was camping, they served food and a shower place.

For me, I am always grateful - always.

Since there were no calls on a Saturday that guests were coming over, the family decided to head out at night.

But this time around, we did not directly head to town like we normally do.
We decided to take a different route and headed to Vivocity, not knowing what we will be getting.

Lil Sis all set and ready - as always!

And the shopping begins...

Ok Lil' Sis, where should we go?
Left or right?

There was a clearance sale which was selling practically everything.
Me and mom were contemplating to buy plastic racks for my room

And here they are.. don't ask me why those are purchased.

Daddy did not seem to give it a miss for shopping as well..

After that, it was our normal coffee session.
This time around, Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf at Paragon

Me being so engrossed with the game.
Asik asik kalah ni...

On Sunday, we had an earlier start to the day.
Had breakfast (yes breakfast) and then went to the driving range where dad coached us.

That Sunday itself, I was invited to visit my 'aunty' at the west side whom I did not meet since I was working in IBM.
Her house was so far that I made dad send me and got Lil' Sis to accompany me.
What was better was that Mark, just lived next block to Aunty and I dragged him along as well.

When I came by, instead of Zabirah who I expected to meet first, it was Zawiyah who came to the door followed by Aunty..
Zawiyah smiled and smiled.
It melted my heart so much!!

I gave Aunty the longest and tightest hug that I think she could not laugh.
3 years not meeting her was no joke.
I did not come to see her when Zawiyah was born.
Worse, a little more than year later, I did not come to visit when Hassan was born.
Yes, Aunty has 3 children now and how I adore them all!

Zabirah has really grown up. I remembered her was like this:

Now she is 7 and in Primary One.

In fact, her cousin, Mufsin was in the same school as Lil' Sis.
So Mark, Mufsin and Lil' Sis were all friends by chance.
I still feel so loved by Zabirah after all these years not meeting her.

"Zabirah, do you miss me?"
"Of course"

And Mufsin being so kaki menyakat, I whined at Zabirah and said,"Zabirah, abang Mufsin bully me."
Guess what she said and did.
She punched Mufsin and said,"You bully Kakak Mima, I pull your braces!"

That really got us laughing.

Zawiyah, on the other hand, always wanted to be carried by me.
All I needed to do was to stretch my hand out and she will stretch her hand UP.
The whole time she looked at me and smiled.
So adorable la kan...

And she could not get her eyes off Mark also.
Aunty was teasing that probably Zawiyah was so intrigued by Mark's hair - which both of them had the same kind.

*lol*

Thing was that I told Mark to take a photo with her but she didn't want to be carried by Mark.
So here I was with them.. She still looks happy though.

*lol*

Here are the remaining...

Me and Zabirah, showing off her missing teeth.
"Zabirah, where are your teeth?" I asked.
"My friend took it and will exchange with me for new teeth."

Kids do say the darnest thing!

Mark & Lil Sis with Zabirah..

Zawiyah's shots.
(It was hard to make her smile cos she was looking at Mark the whole time!)

The three of us

Mark & Mufsin

The day didn't end there.. I had a colleague's wedding to attend.
Didn't take much pictures there though..

Signing the Guest Book

Having a spoonful of the dessert

Lil' Sis' idea of us having a staircase shot.

Thanks Mark for the company.
It had been fun and we did have some heart warming chats didn't we?
Hang in there bro... there are challenges up ahead.
Be a man and live it up ya.

Just we thought our day ended, Mom said we should visit Nurul since we were at the West side.
Of course it was fun being around with the chirpy her.
Only that our camera battery went flat and used her new cybershot camera instead..
So chic!

Still too bad, the photos have not been passed to us yet!
I'm waiting!!!
