yes yes yes I'm here!!!!
I was 'missing' for 2 weeks. Was it two weeks?
Errrr... technically more than that.
Until my brother even said da berhabuk pun ini blog
Cheh!
First I was busy with preparing with my monthly presentation. Then I did just a little bit of socialising three Fridays ago.
My socialising means apart from the nightly dinners and coffee with my mom or family after work.
To be honest, it didn't turn out very well..
It was just a blast.
I am really an old woman with a young heart la.. so look at this.
The food
The parents
The girls in limelight
Anyway these two women (Nurul & Lil' Sis) were yakkety-yak and got me so exhausted by the end of the day.
Slept through till afternoon and I wish I could have membuter some more if not for the housework that I need to do every weekends.
To Nurul
p/s: That Saturday afternoon, I woke up at 1pm and I was thinking,'Kesian si Nurul... dah start kerja pun'
She is one vibrant woman and I seriously mean vibrant
A nurse who is
Thanks ekh girl... I didn't need to know THAT molecular detail!
2 days after dinner, like belum habis penat layan itu pompuan, I was off.
Off to Jakarta.
I was so energetic to do my shopping. Ate hearty breakfasts, siap dengan water bottle and a trolley bag, only to be exhausted at Day 2 and have the Indonesian guys calling me Siti Nurhaliza
I was like "oh my gawddddddddddd!!!!"
Takder orang lain ker?
ok part part ni, only Efni will paham perasaan I HOKEY!
No. I don't look like Siti Nurhaliza.
Full Stop.
So here were my pics which I took.
Harap maklum as it was taken from a telephone camera.
Sights of Jakarta
One thing for sure, over there, me and my mom was so over-kemaruk of kain-kain.
Selection is much better and cheaper than in Arab Street.
Habis la.. Hari Raya ni konferm bergaya
*squeals*
Have you seen a kampung?
I honestly didn't think I would end up in one.
No I was not going to visit my relative. I was going to do some other business.
But being there was really a pleasure and definitely relaxing.
But here was the house I came into
Really a gorgeous house.
Kalah rumah HDB kat sini
The trip was super hectic. Not only with shopping but guess what happen.
Me & mom checked out at 4pm. Continued shopping at WTC which is not that fantastic anymore.
Then in the something-like-a-Pajero-only-Toyota-brand-vehicle, mom ask,"Intan where are the passports?"
"With you,"I replied.
"No."
"Damn.. it is in the safe."
Time check, 6.20pm and we had dinner at 7pm with dad's business friends which nak patah balik amik passport and go to the dinner place near the airport.
We rushed though and troubled the hotel staffs by going back to the room and re-open the safe.
Thank god our passports were there.
So we rushed to the dinner place. Arrived there at 7.30pm. Food was beginning to be served only that they were kind to order more for me and mom who was already so kenyang with all the nonsense food.
I ate (again!) and laughed and chatted with my dad's friend's daughter (relation jauh) who was going to study in Singapore and then all of the sudden I dropped my utensils.
"Mak! Where is my laptop?!?!"
"With you!"
I rushed to the something-like-a-Pajero-only-Toyota-brand-vehicle, and search obviously to no avail. I called Aryaduta, where we stayed (Thank god we stayed there) and got through to the front desk.
Here I was frantically speaking Indonesian for them to quickly understand me and there they were trying their best to speak English.
Ya Allah... da kenaper!
Turns out that I left it at the Car Call.
A valet service where they would call for the drivers.
I was so relief nak mampos
Time check - 8.50pm
Dad had to be at the airport at 9pm. His flight was at 10pm. Ours was at 11.35pm.
Everyone turned frantic. My mom so stressed!
Dinner stopped all of the sudden.
Hey!! I seriously broke into cold sweat ok!
Out of the 6 that attended dinner, 4 went messy. Paid for dinner and rush to the carpark to tell the driver what to do.
They calculated that going through back and forth takes 2 hours.
I was like,Mati laaaaa... ni tak balik Singapore
I eventually made friends with the hotels staffs which I promised to write them a complimentary letter. That I will get it done in a few days.
But Pak Guminto was great la ok. He sped in the something-like-a-Pajero-only-Toyota-brand-vehicle,like driving and F1, cuma dia horn belambak na kreter. I was in the airport by 10.50pm.
*phew*
Just in time.
Then mom and dad was off to Kuantan the following day for another wedding which I was at home trying to rest only to have to keep on feeding lil' sis and keep cleaning the house cos she and her books are just so messy.
In actual fact, I have yet to really rest.
with work piling up (which is good) and people always say that I am overloaded (which is bad) but it exhausts me nevertheless.
Then yesterday was the closing date. I got Lovie to help me through at the very last min cos my brain juices got exhausted as well. I shall not disclose anything further for now. Insya Allah if I have good news, I will share.
For now, I have a presentation this upcoming Friday and QA to run for my entire DBS Project month end. It is a huge 9-monthly event, involving Infrastructure, Applications and my PMO team. Me & Boss will have to conduct dry-runs to ensure that all turns out well.
I am too tired to write but I will elaborate many exciting things about work next time around.
*pinky promise*
(Ok I never knew what the hell THAT was)
The warrior of light calmly goes to his sacred place and puts on the cloack of faith.
Faith parries all blows.
Faith transforms poison into pure water.

Oh how this spoke of me!
