It kicked off for me with the Project Team Christmas Gift exchange plus a night stay in Hilton Singapore.
It has been all food over this month and it is not going to stop anytime soon
*eeek*
Somehow it is quite a good thing that I missed out on weddings and some of the corporate functions.
First was my people manager, the one overlooking our welfare, holding lunch at Sakura at Pasir Ris.
I embarassed myself trully cos I have never been to a luncheon buffet as such and I was really lost. Thing is that, put me in a hotel buffet and I would know what to do and how to do. I tagged myself with my colleagues and was really embarassed not being able to carry myself well.
I didnt expect myself to be Miss-Know-it-all but the least I expected of myself was that anyone could throw me at any place and I would be able to pull through it.
I am no Miss Perfect and I am human after all.
Upon our arrival
The group sharing the same dining table
Us
And finally here were us who attended the lunch feast.
The following day was our Christmas Gifts Exchange.
Food was abundant. Wooohoooo!
I had my tummy nicely filled, if not a little too overboard... but hush.. don't tell my mom. Hahaha!
Here were the gifts to be exchanged
Besides the Finance Team, here were our very own PMO teams
PSO Team, which is made up of all girls!
Then the chargeback team.
Rose among the thorns.
And my team which is pretty balanced if you include my boss in there *wide smile*
Here was me and Maisy of whom we coincidentally got each other's wish list.
The other girl aka Hui managed to just menyelit
And my boss grabbed the camera from God-knows-who only to take my most unglamourous shot.
Hey, I am only human and do have my flaws ok!
*tee hee*
And finally here were us.
The trio in crime, as always
The PMO Ladies
And the whole team
There are still loads of pics & updates pending, ie Lil' sis surprise birthday party. Yes! Apparently her "surprise me surprise me" did work. Plus the Jakarta trip.
I wonder if I can have all in place in time.
There is so much to do and so little time for myself!
I did make space for myself though.
Splurge trully a little on a Coach bag.
Yes!!! I know I said I wouldn't buy one.
*snips tongue*
Can you see how many flaws I realised I have? Only to see so many in a span of a few days
*hung head*
But it was really a good offer, going at 30% discount.
I was torn by a few bags and forced myself to make a decision with only one so I can put my resources on another bag which I am eyeing on.
A whiskey Coach Legacy #11127
It really feels good to reward yourself after a year of hardwork. It is indeed deserving.
