I'm back!

I think I would be very exhausted over till the end of the month.
With many appointments and corporate events going on, I just hope I have the energy to enjoy the New Year. Something which I am trully looking forward to.


Anyway, Jakarta trip was fine.
Ate too much till my mom was nagging... can't really blame me for the fact that they had a really good spread of Donuts at Jco.
Slept too much because of the jam which was horrendous!
(I think the driver got used to me snoring already)
Walked too much, till my legs got so sore that I had to urut myself just so that I could walk the following day.
Spent too much because I splurged on my kain raya over there and since it is cheaper than
in Arab Street for the same material.

Still, the best thing about the Jakarta trip was watching the Asian Idol show.

Which reminds me of the concert I went at Hard Rock! So nostalgic!







And guess who spoilt it!
The Indian Idol la!
Dah la he translated the whole song to Hindi, he didnt even do justice to the song!
Urgh! So geram
And the Indian Idol judge wanted him to win?
For what?
Inversatility and not even memorising his english lyrics on stage during the 6-idol performance?

Probably he made it in Bollywood or whatever wood la but that will never had justify him as the Asian Idol!

I would have been able to swallow my reality pill if Mike Mohede or Jacklyn Victor had won but Abishek Sawant?
No way.

Me, mom and Lil Sis were chanting that Hady would not win due to the fact that probably Singapore was the smallest country among the 6 competing Ifdols and the vote count may be low.

But thanks to the Indonesians & Malaysians who would have probably voted for him to win.
Who cares if the margin of winning was tiny.
All that matters is that he is now the Asian Idol. Definitely fit to be one because he has stage presence, good aura and very humble to the other contestants.

Give Hady any song, he would have been able to carry it well.

The minute Hady's name was announced, me and lil sis were jumping up and down screaming so loudly, waking my mom up and poor Lovie who called me in the hotel room.

Still, congratulations Hady.
You made the nation indeed proud



It didnt matter if the nation was small. But it goes to show that the fans do have the spirit & monetary power to splurge on the sms votes.

And it is indeed time for the judges to swallow all their words back.
Including you Ken.
