I guess that is the price I have to pay for being on leave for a while now.
Still tons of email to look through despite my efforts to continue clearing them when I was on leave.
For the first time, I dragged going to work.
But now that I am at work, I do not have the time to sustain this draggy feeling.

30th June to 1st July 2007
2 days 1 night stay for relatives of my great great granduncle. Yes that is how far up the family tree we have managed to find so far.
My maternal great grandmother was his niece.
There are families from Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore, of which those from Malaysia and Singapore attended.
This is a bi-yearly event. Next one in 2009 & this is the 2nd gathering they held.
I did meet up with my second-cousins whom I have not met for YEARS!! and the meet up were great really!
All guests were greeted with a huge banner in front of the resort
In fact, we were pretty quick to say hello to everyone there!!
Once showered and refreshed and prayed, the men were off to play a soccer match.

Rules? There are no rules!
Here was the team of our Malaysian & Singaporean men
prior to the match.
Malaysia vs Singapore
During the match, they realised that it was hard to know who belong to which team, esp when there are new faces.
So they flipped a coin.
And it turned out that the Malaysians have to go topless..

Who am I to say anything?? I might someday be one.

But they did win anyway.

After the match
It was dinner that night and everyone was dressed for the occasion.
Here were us!!
And we sabo-ed our parents on stage, telling the 138 people attending the function that it was their 30th year anniversary
I couldn't believe they can still blush at their age!!
At night
The next morning, all were set for more games

Then we moved on to the tug-of-war
Again Malaysia vs Singapore. Men's match & Ladies match separately.
Here were our Singapore men.
'Tough' kan!!!

Aper tak? This time the Singapore team won!
But fate decided to take a turn when it was the ladies match. Obviously me and the other girls around my age were the first to volunteer. The best thing was mom volunteered too!!

It was really funny though. Cos the Singaporean girls were relly small size. Me being the largest.

When the whistle blew, the Singapore girls barely got to hold on for a good 10 secs.
All of us melayang. 1 of them literally did!!
Here were us making useless efforts!!

Our last stop prior to checking out and heading to my aunty's farm, we took walk down the river

We arrived and everything was ready
Limeade, tea, herbal drink, 4 baskets of durian & a clean place for us to eat.
Of course we were enjoying ourselves!!
