I've succumbed to reading since there is really not many things to do during my free time.
And I picked up a book which i didnt finish reading few months back
"IF LIFE is a GAME, THESE are the RULES"
And i came by a chapter which explains the basic 4 characters that we should have.
Humour
Forgiveness
Compassion
Ethics
I was stuck at the portion of forgiveness for a LONG time.
I re-read couple of times.
The book tries to teach us how to forgive people who did wrong to us.
The reason why i re-read multiple times was because i couldn't find within me to forgive someone.
And i got upset.
Do i lack compassion?
Of course i did talk it out.
Else i'd probably go crazy looking at the amount of things that are in my head now.
I am only trying to be human.
Trying to forgive and forget
I've done it many times but somehow i couldn't do it this time.
Yes it did upset me a lot
till...
he himself said
"I have read a lot of books which talks about forgiveness. They trying to teach you how to forgive. I used to tell people that unless they are a smoker, its pointless telling a smoker to stop smoking"
I was like... -_-
He continued though...
"Its the same thing. The book tells you what to do. whats best for you to do. But at the end of the day, they have not gone through what you have to be telling you to forgive someone"
Does that make me less human?
"Of course we have to forgive people when they do wrong. But not when they touch the baselines of our lives. I'm sure there were other ways for him to pull you down by not affecting the people that matters most to you

To err is human, to forgive is divine
I got myself justified, for I am only human
