I am back for what I had promised.
A whole lot of stories since Wednesday.
This week, I faced and overcome 3 things.
And these 3 things are those which either depresses or disappoints me
They come rolling in one after another like another tidal wave.
I was asking what luck did I have for facing disappointments
The only thing left was to move on.
And to move on is to redha cos God permits it
There must be a reason.
But I will take the disappointments with an open eye.
I learn a lot more. Many things in life which i had overlooked.
I'm glad God had made me open my eyes wider.
I'm sure He has plans for me.
THAT made me move on..
So here i was still appreciating the remains that i had for the week.
hmmmm... let me see...
Wednesday afternoon
We had lunch at Changi Airport Terminal 2
Sukothai
Food wasn't that fantastic. But it is ok.
p/s: "mother" and ah hui, next time go fish and co hor?
Pls pls pls...
And I HAVE NOT GOTTEN MY SWENSENS SINCE THAT TIME I FORGOT WHEN!
Before that, me and Hui went to Singpost to do some mails.
WE WERE LOST I TELL YOU
Not that we didnt find the place. But we were so disorganised!!!
I didnt know what was the different between speedpost and registered mail
I didnt know I had to get my own envelopes.
I thought when i asked for registered mail, i still had to stick my own stamps
*lol*
I didnt know I am so silly
Hui didnt know where to find the glue to seal her envelopes
when sealing her stamps, she was a lil' clumsy and we were giggling away..
Goodness..
I managed to say,"So much for sending mails with a click of a button huh?"
Apparently snail mails dont work for me anymore.
Here were the bimbos at the Singpost
And lunch at Sukothai..
Me, Hui and Nisa
and then there was "mother" and myself!
Last Wednesday at T2 as well, I grabbed Starbucks after the LONGEST time ever!
Then on Friday there was IBM kick-off meeting where we were introduced to the new country manager.
Another lady! Way to go!
So in the office takder goh-man langsung!!
Look how happy we were!
Lunch time was longer than usual!
Thought of cabut-ting early that day but dept manager called at 7pm
How to like that?
*lol*
In the end left the office at 7.30pm
Then Saturday was AMP Open House Day.
We were asked to come at 12pm. But knowing me and Efni, we strolled in at 2.30pm.
*lol*
It was supposed to start at that time. And it ended up starting at 3.20pm
*sigh*
What's new... And we mentors had to wear the designed t-shirt/shirt/jersey whatever.
I couldnt decide.
So we were in the toilet.
I donned the whatever over my long sleeve topshop whatever of which i had to take out my head dress while doing so
*understand so far?*
No?
Ok take a look at this:
The girls(of whom are only me and Ef) couldnt resist but to camwhore!
First it was Efni who eagerly wanted to try my head dress.
Wanita Terakhir konon!!
But she did look good!
Her wanita terakhir tudung moments!
yeah she did rip the tudung off my head just to fix it on hers!
*lol*
And then we continued!
(After she gave me back my tudung that is.. *chuckles*)
And then I sms-ed Ena and a girl yang I call call call tak angkat-angkat pasal dier tidur mati!
*sigh*
So instead of feat. 4 ladies, we had only 3 with us. Plus 1 cameraman who took all our photos in here
*lol*
The ladies!
Ena
Efni
Me(duh!)
And the camwhoring-session-which-me-and-ef-are-having-fun-and-ena-was-telling-us-to-quit-but-we-ignored-her-and-she-was-forced-into-this-with-us
We lepak at the coffee shop for a full 3 hrs.
Goodness! I wonder how we did it
Cos i am no minah lepak ok!
Didnt i say my relatives from Java came over?
I followed them to one of the gatherings.
Its really a warm snuggly feeling when you attend to such gatherings and listen to the late late stories
How my great grandmother actually had a Raden in her name to justify her fuedal status in Banyumas
And my great great grandfather whose name is Kartodikromo
They escape from the feudal rivalry in Banyumas and headed up the mountains. My great great grandparents didnt survive long.
And due this rivalry, they stripped their titles
2 came to Singapore (of which 1 is my great grandmother)
2 went to Medan
1 to Aceh
Yayee is putting up a blog to write out our tree!
I am helping!
yeay!
This is so exciting.
This was the gathering:
When i got back home, my mother got a call from my next door neighbour
My neighbour called to say that her husband mentioned that I am now a big girl.
He asked if i was getting married soon.
Cos if i was, then dun pick the month of Dec cos they are going for Haj.
(Isnt it sweet of them?)
They are the ones i'd probably be counting on on my wedding preparations and day.
But aunty & uncle.. dont worry.. Not yet.
Not anytime soon!
I am taking my own sweet time with this.
Till i can open my heart to do it...
Ok that's it.
I still have clothes to iron.
Bags to pack *groan*
My daily night shower before i sleep
I had a relatively good weekend.
I hope u did too!
*smiles*
