Then after many days and times browsing, he showed me something which he thought was interesting.
I just "Ummmm..." and "A ah..." and reminded him of the ridiculous COE prices today and that we will not want to spend too much a month to have a new car.
What was eminent was that our good old Suzy was breaking breaking down and it is almost impossible to put in Rania's pram and car seat in the boot space.
Plus, I was very concern about our car safety.
3 years ago when the husband purchased the car, we thought it could last us another 5 years.
We wanted to hang on to it till we had 2 kids but it was proven challenging.
So one weekend after a wedding, the husband said,"Nak gi tengok kereta?"
Why not..since our evening was free.
A meet up with the owner and a test drive, I fell in love with the car.
A month prior to my delivery, we test drive a Honda Civic 1.8L at a shop but I didn't like it.
But with this one, I love it!
Not a luxury car, it was a muslim owner and the car was superbly kept. In fact, the car was repainted from white to maroon.
A more solid car, 6 airbags and a sturdy feel, I felt much safer in the car.
That, I need to blame dad for pampering the family that much.
Yesterday was the handover of the car.
During the handover, one of the brothers told my husband to take good care of the car because it has ferried a lot of habibs.
Our hair stood.
What are the odds!
My husband is one of habib's chauffeur too on certain weekends.
We just feel blessed and somehow we know even more that it was a good buy.
I would be one hell of a proud daughter showing this off to Daddy and he will be one hell of a proud father, beaming that his son-in-law takes care of his daughter and GRAND daughter. He will be beaming that my life seems complete.
Regardless, he is one proud father.
I miss you Daddy. I wish you were here to collect the car with us and feel the first drive.
The husband is very sentimental.
Here is the family with Suzy. Our black Suzuki Swift.
You will be deeply missed.
The car which have been through with us for 3 years.
Hello Lucy. Our Mitshubishi Lancer.
