It's Day 2 of flu and it is really frustrating me how the 3rd trimester begins steeply challenging.
It was another full weekend the minute clock starts Friday.
My husband's adopted brother got married over the weekend. A simple nikah ceremony.
Now being a part of their family, I get the joy (and stress) of tying ribbons to the wedding favours and for the first time making corsages.
Some of the corsages failed and I was so disappointed with myself but my mother-in-law was very forgiving.
*phew*
She does have good taste of flower combinations.
By fate, she was the one who did my engagement and wedding gifts. It's just amazing :)
The wedding ring.
It is a 0.74 carat diamond solitaire!
Awesome!!
I am a big fan of diamonds. In fact I love chunky diamonds.
I remember how looking for my own wedding ring was a chore as well a joy when I know I found the right one.
I realised that not every lady gets to choose their wedding rings.
My my was I super relieved!!!
Some of them even had to leave their choices to their mother-in-law. When I was told of that fact, I really failed at maintaining my facial reaction!
*lol*
So I promised the husband that I will wear it for the rest of my life, a translated promise of my love for him.
So when he bought me a half-carat ring with additional 2 bands, I was thrilled.
(because I chose it anyway, but he agreed!!!)
But now when I see this one, I lagi thrilled.
*lol*
I just never say only to the husband!!!
Women!!!
(or maybe it is just me.. hehehehe)
But nonetheless, I am very happy for the couple. Happy that the bride has a nice ring as her mas kahwin.
Happier that they finally got married.
Anyway, it was a weekend well spent with families, especially with the husband's side because it is his birthday week!
But here are some silly pictures from my end.
My family has this tendency of just LOVING my silly faces that they will follow suit after that!
Yes, we are a family who just like to lepak.
Enjoy good coffee and some desserts, play games and chit chat till late.
Go home, shower and sleep.
It is a 15 year tradition now. I wonder how it will be when I pop.
So till the next update.
p/s: that is my Lil' Sister's nottie finger.
