My husband can count on me to make sure that I do get good buys and worth the dollars, though I can also assure you that he would rather not see receipts or hear the doorbell with some strange man standing outside the door with my package or shopping.
But seriously, I have stopped shopping for myself (or maybe I have downsized the shopping to 80%) and buying more things preparing for Junior's arrival and for the new home.
Husband is always busy. I am always busy but the thing with women is that shopping can be done anytime, anywhere and in fact very quickly.
I do not have the habit of pondering an item at the store for a long time.
I have the habit of running through the whole cycle in my head, get to the store and pick and purchase.
Firstly, I fell in love with this mini jogger.
Ok that is probably a classier way to call it than the word 'pram'.
Truly, this is love at first sight.
Mummies-to-be, when I share this with you, I am sure you too will be heading down to Mothercare.
It is 7.5kg, pretty light for a pram.
Full coverage from the sun.
There is a basket underneath where I can store my shopping things.
My husband and I made a pact that we would not want to purchase too many prams.
One which is good for a long time.
The great thing about this is that it has a lot of additional accessories so when Junior becomes a big brother/sister, he can stand on a latched board which the smaller one gets the pram.
The winner for this is really how it is so easy to fold-and-carry.
I am serious!!
By the looks of it, even I am confident if I need to head out on my own.
Then I bought Baby Bjorn.
I tried a few baby carriers and the review of Baby Bjorn just swept me away, knowing that it will do a good job.
Yes, I picked this colour because if you notice I am always in dull shades of blue, black, white, grey, brown and sand colour.
So this is my personally.
Active Baby Bjorn in Singapore costs $249 and I got it online for $200 after shipping.
Now I thought that is quite a steal too.
3 days ago I told the husband,"I know what to get for you on your birthday. Do you want it early or do you want it on the day itself."
His birthday is in Oct.
Him, being like me of course was so curious and got a little excited.
Just like how he bought my birthday present, a Powershot S95 in March when my birthday was in May.
So yesterday, we headed to purchase his birthday gift and he gleamed like a little boy.
How my heart still flutters... *sigh*
A Canon prime lens 50mm f1.8
It is not expensive really. Again, I got quite a good deal.
Lens with original hood and filter total up to about $185.
My little boy tried it out the lenses and of course I went crazy too.
Primes lenses are great for potrait taking or especially when you have an object you would like to focus.
Here are pictures of the things in my house.
I guess that will not be all.
We will have 1 babymoon and 1 babymoon-cum-husband's birthday back to back after Hari Raya.
I cannot wait!!!
Travelling while pregnant is so fun though I am advised not to take flights due to bleeding in my early stages of my pregnancy.
The husband will be the one lugging all the luggage during the travel.
He is willing to do it, as long as he doesn't have to carry my handbag.
He refused to be caught doing so, even if I need to head to the loo.
He will put my handbag inside a shopping bag.
-_-"
Till my next yakkety yak!
