Yesterday, I went to the mosque and saw a very sad banner.
I found out that mosques have to be independent now.
Maybe it works across all other places of worship but it is different when you throw an ikan bilis into the sea compared to a shark into the sea.
Our rates of survival is definitely lower.
Anyway, MUIS is one statutory board I was never fond of.
Period.
The mosque is clean and very simple.
In fact, it is preserved in a very old fashioned manner. Toilets are clean and well maintained.
I even notice that their charity accounts received are tabulated and pasted on the notice board for everyone to see.
My heart sincerely goes out to them.
I may not be able to give much but I am very confident that if we can part with $50, it will be a substantial amount to them.
Mathematically, it only takes 220 people to donate $50 to them to clear their debt with HDB.
With that, we can use the place for our prayers and for our men to do their Friday prayers.
Please feel free to pass the word around, collect among your relatives and send it to the mosque.
Me and the husband am planning to speak to the mosque representative to see if they have a dedicated account number for our brothers and sisters to do internet banking.
Insya Allah, I hope to get back to you soon.
In the meantime, let's help before it is too late.
May Allah bless your kind souls.
xoxo
