Stretch Marks

My skin started to itch way before I knew I was pregnant but I thought it was just my dry skin as I really hate slapping moisturiser on the body.
I hate the greasy feeling and how the clothes stick on to them.

So really, I am a perfume person and not a moisturiser person.

When I found out that I was pregnant, this was recommended to me.
Of course there are also some who recommended cocoa butter and Vit E Oil.
However, feedbacks also say that cocoa butter doesnt work and I am afraid that Vit E Oil will stain my clothes.

So here it is!

I was at the Clarins counter and enquired about this.
The lady asked if I had used it before.
I shook my head.

She told me to use it after every shower.
I was puzzled.
Shouldn't we use it everytime the stomach feels scratchy?
And she mentioned to use it around the breast area, arms, thighs, backside and tummy.

My my...
I really thought I just needed to hit on the tummy.

I followed her advice anyway.
There was nothing to lose.

After shower, I slapped this all over my body.
No stains on my clothes!
Yay!

When I got into the shower after work, I was so amazed.
My skin was so slippery under water even after more than 12 hours!
That's how long the moisture is locked!
And no need to reapply between the hours!!!

To date, alhamdulillah while the tummy is growing, the stretch marks are nowhere to be seen.
I still hate my hands being smeared with the creams but this Junior doesn't care how Mummy's stomach is going to be.
Junior will just keep growing.

I know a lot of ladies who are pregnant and just got pregnant.
It feels great to be on the same wagon with them and 'recruiting' new onboards!

Twitter is much interesting.
We have moved past the wedding phase and now each of us are embracing motherhood.

I pray for these upcoming mummies the best.
It scares the shit out of me thinking of labour and birth but gazillion mothers did it.
I am sure we can.

At least I need to assure myself that I can.

:)
