My 3 big bets!

Tuesday, September 7, 2010

God knows what had happened since I last blogged.
Those who have followed me closely on Twitter will have a good idea.

Fasting has been easy for me for almost 30 days.
I was not craving for anything actually which is good. I do not eat in between buka and sahur.
Still, the weight has yet to drop drastically, which I really need to for the wedding.

*sigh*

Skin went on a major breakout and I am really not happy about it.
Went to see a doctor but it is not helping.
He said it has got nothing to do with my hormones so please do not say that it is because I am getting married and tengah banyak berangan.
I always get that statement.
Truth is, my schedule is so hectic that I do not even have time to berangan!

Probably I have a lot in my mind.

Work:
I am still thinking how to hit my sales target and I do not have much time to produce the results.

Raya preparation:
I just planned out what to wear. I had no time to look for my hijab that I purchase online whatever would match. 70% I was right. Still a time saver.
I managed to do some baking for raya (which I will share in the next entry) in time.
If there is still enough time, I may want to slot in a white choc chip cookie.
In spite of being sick and was still fasting, my baking turn out alright
*pats back*

I have no idea what shoe to use for Hari Raya.
Worse, what bag to use.
Recycle the same ol' Louis Vuitton and Fendi?

Then I found my dream bag.
Perfect for Hari Raya & what more other occassions.
Only $1400!!!!!

Seriously, if you know the ridiculous prices of Prada or YSL, you really would think that this is affordable.

Did you know that Fendi & Prada are my favourites!!??!!
This is their new collection for 2010.

Problem was, I was with the fiance and mom while shopping.
While mom thought it is a nice buy, the fiance always have to remind me that we are going to build a home and it needs a lot of "start-up" money.
Which I do have to agree that it is crunch time.
So for once, I do have to curb my spending on this one.

I left the store telling the fiance,"I am a good girl kan?"
His reply?
"We'll see."

So sardin I tell you.

Wedding preparation:
So the wedding preps are kicking in quite smoothly.
Managed to get the time for Fatimah Mohsin and the coordinator at the wedding venue.
Something which I have been trying to coordinate since July!

Then when all seems well, the fiance got a call from the coordinator the next day saying that they had accidentally released our ballroom booking.
I panicked like crazy.
Like super crazy!!

So we lost our initial wedding date.
14th November was out of the topic.
I quickly called up the caterer and the fiance called up Fatimah Mohsin concurrently to change our wedding date.
Alhamdulillah the slot we wanted were the only slots available.
Then we had to change the date for Registry of Muslim Marriages.
There was really a whole lot of reshuffling and recoordinating that it drove me almost insane.

But now we are back on track with the preparations.
The wedding cards managed to be edited and printed in time for Hari Raya.
I could not be more thankful because I remember when my brother wanted to get married, going door to door to send wedding invitation is just crazy!

I am already counting down to my wedding.
My PMP exams in 3 weeks.
I am under major stress.

But it is really a good kind of stress and I cannot be thankful.
I had 2 days of MC and rest and I will be back to full gear tomorrow at work.
I cannot wait to head back to office and kickstart my daily lifestyle again.

Bottom line, no matter what happens, I am very blessed.
