A week before Chinese New Year, I received an email from a writer for Sutra requesting to write a column for Her Closet in March's issue.
I was so excited that I almost pee-d in my pants.
I rushed for my photoshoot and picture edits for inclusion,even rushed my current site developers to semi-finalised on Her Closet's website.
I also engaged someone to design Her Closet's logo, which today has yet to be finalised.
It was really a challenge task based on the timeline provided.
Lots of phone call and emails to reply when working with the writer.
When all was done, can you imagine the kind of anxiety I have waiting for March issue?
I gave up waiting until one of my Twitter followers tweeted.
Immediately, I rushed to get a copy of it.
I was keen to see which photos were picked up.
In fact, I was hoping that my sister's pictures with our new arrivals made it to the magazine.
But alas, it was mine.
Thank God I was facing down.
Her Closet was featured in 1/3 of the page.
Our hercloset.net is still under a major revamp and it has yet to be completed.
Insya Allah it is ready to go 'live' in a couple of weeks time.
In any case, business is as usual on Facebook.
I would like to thank the patrons and customers for Her Closet.
Thank my family, especially my sister and fiance for the support to pose for pictures or ensure that my items are posted punctually.
Her Closet will turn 2 in a couple of months.
It has been a marvellous journey, an eye opener and I believe the structure only got better.
Her Closet is comprehensively designed for ladies to do a one stop shopping, beauty reads and recommendation and also churn out new arrivals.
It is really something to look forward to.
I teared a little when I read the whole article.
