Urinary Tract Infection

** I wrote this entry past 2am and forgot a very important info, highlighted in blue!**

Ok so let's admit this:
Women are the only gender who menopauses.
They are more prone to breast cancer (yes, there are a small percentage of men who has it)

One of the things that hits us and we hate it is when we have urinary tract infection (UTI)
It is probably the most uncomfortable thing to happen in your life.
Better the pain of menstrual cramps where you can squeeze your tummy and curl up in bed than feeling uncomfortable with UTI.

When I was younger, I used to have it every few months previously and I did not understand why, despite drinking truckloads of water.
Today, I do not remember when was the last time I had it.

Since 80% of my blog readers are female, I hope this benefits them.
Something you want to keep in mind or make it a habit for the matter.

One of the reasons why we have UTI could be because our body (inside) is too heaty and we are not drinking enough water to flush toxics out.
So with nothing to urine out and the heat in the body, bacteria tend to breed at an accelerated rate.
Too much white blood cells and they are the ones trying to fight the foreign particles.
What we probably did not know is that it is the best environment for them.

Cranberry:
Cranberry is a great source of clearing our urine system.
Eat the fruit, drink the juice, have it in your muffins... whatever.
So have it as often as you can.
Seriously.

Water:
Water is always the best remedy.
Whether you are having a flu or feeling bloated, water is the cure.
It regulates the body temperature and at the same time 'absorbs' all the toxic through osmosis before excreting it out.
Water must an always should be your best friend.
Recommended intake is 8 glasses daily.
But seriously it should only be your minimum intake.
Drink as much water as you can but please don't overwork those kidneys till it fail on you.

Flush that toilet!!
I am one woman who is rarely at home.
Seriously.
Out with friends or family or even on dates (hee hee hee)
So really, I depend a lot on public toilets to do my thing.

Flush the toilet bowl before you use it.
Especially if there is a lady who used it before you, you can even feel the heat from her pee when you are doing your thing.
It nicely warms up your arse.
But here is the thing... The hot air is from her pee and it is nothing but floating bacteria.
And because public toilets have no form of water to wash yourself up, you are only allowing the bacteria to breed in between your legs.
So please, give yourself a flush before you use the toilet.

Have a fresh bowl.

This is a logic I heard from a nurse cousin of mine:
"Do you know why we can smell our shit? Because the shit particles are stuck in our nose."
One thing for sure, once I shit at home, I will wash my hair!

But anyway, same logic.
You must, you must have a fresh bowl!!

Now what happens when you are hit with UTI.
Quickly head to Watsons or Guardian Pharmacy and get Citravescent.
It cost about $1.20 now.
Previously, I bought it only for 50 cents.
Usually General Practitioners will also prescribe this.

Citravescent:
*sorry for the poor quality of photo*

Depending on the severity of it, you can take this effervescent up to 3 times daily.
Usually it will clear within a day, if not two.

If this still does not work, please see the doctor to have antibiotics prescribed.
I hope this helps.

Unlike before, talking about UTI is a taboo.
I never knew why.
But today, even we talk to kids about sex, so what is UTI.
