I grow up thinking that I have the most adorable parents in the world.
A couple who holds hands in public. Hugs in public. Kisses in public.
Nope.. we children are not ashamed.
In fact, we have come to a point now that we siblings will be walking behind them and view their affection.
Yes, all married couple has their own differences. Even those who are not married faced theirs.
The difference is those who stay in the marriage and stick through their choices.
I have been betrayed by men too many times.
I ever told my parents many times that if I wasn't a Muslim, I would have cohabitated. Of course I had a lecture from them.
But I will run away from the idea of marriage.
Only because I cannot run out of it once I am in it.
They are the reason why I believe in a marriage.
I learnt the good and bad from mom. I learnt the same thing from dad.
Hey, we are all human!
I am not going to shy away from the fact that it has been smooth flowing.
But one thing for sure, irregardless the challenges, they really do stick like glue.
To their 32nd year Anniversary,
Thank you mom and dad for the happy marriage.
It made us the happy children we are today.
I love you.
p/s daddy dearest,
You are definitely and will always be the king of my heart.
I love you always.
Thank you for being there in my tough moments over the past months and giving me the courage to keep moving a step forward each time.
I really would not have made it here today, if not because of you and your support.
I know this is so dah basi, but Happy Father's Day.
