Announcement:
Nyai is to be discharged today!

Today, still with our last minute shopping for her, we have gotten most things ready.
I have to knock off early today to ensure that moving forward, all is at ease and on schedule for Nyai.
Yes, I am conforming to trends and schedules.
Very.

Last night, when we were being informed, all of us cheered - except mom.
She is so scared of what others might say or critic.
I am still trying to get it off her head. People won't shut their mouths so be it.
To hell with it.
As long as our conscious is clear and we are doing our best, people can say all they want to say.
Talk is cheap - especially with no facts and figures.
(Now you know why Daddy made us excel in Math?)

So here we were right after we came back from visiting Nyai last night, we started to get her things ready.

Cleaning her new bed with alcohol.
Plus mom tried to match her new towels with the langsir

We fitted for her fresh sheets and made sure she had comfy pillows!



All is set and done now.
Just waiting for the baby to be home.
Nyai new bedroom



It's probably almost the same as bringing a newborn home.
Exciting yet full of unknowns.

But guess what we did.
Me and Lil' Sis got on the bed, side by side and played with the remote control.
A 3 crank hospital bed.
We went up and down.
We sat up and laid down with elevated legs, giggling all the way.



And my mom was pretending to scream asking us to get lost cos the first person to get on the bed will be Nyai.

The maid has yet to come of which I hope it will be soon.
Else I will have to look for alternatives and work from home to help mommy out.
Still, I believe we will make do.
All of us have cleared training for tube feeding, showering, changing & changing diaper, wound dressing.

Sidetrack:
You know why I blom pass jadi mak orang?
Because till today I still have a problem determining the front and back of a diaper!!!
