Our first car boot sale at Playground@Big Splash.
Firstly, we started setting up a little before 10am and it was scorching hot I tell you that tak pernah pernah my make up literally melted!!
The thick sunscreen underneath the make up was not helping either.
I ended up washing my whole face, went bare skin and yes, though under the tentage, I got sun kissed.
Not burnt like the many who didn't have tents, I can just get burnt with the heatwave.
By 11.30am, I was scratching my nose.
I knew that I got burnt.. That's it la.. another skin peeling episode.
That's what happen when you are fair, you just get more sensitive to the damaging sun!
Urgh!
Raw, though not as red as a lobster, my sister thought it looked nice.
Yeah it will for a couple of days till it looked darkened.
Well, just a quick show of the pictures we took today.
Car Boot Sale - Day 1
Most of the things we sold were pre-loved items.
Clearing our individual closets to
To our surprise, people really do dig into pre-loved items.
We practically sold about 30 pre-loved tops & bags ranging from $2 to $12
But sumpah, the panas buey tahan and I am wearing tudung some more!!
Ya Allah, melelas!!!
Plus my top got wet with perspiration!!
Ok I shall say no more.
There is still a tomorrow and I am going to be wearing a skirt with slipper jepun.
After the sale, we went for fries and tea at Mac'Donald's and I told my sister how I admired a family of 5.
While the wife leafed through item per item of my mom's shirts to pick what to buy, she kept apologising to the husband and kids but the hubby was so nice to keep telling her to take her time while he took care of 3 little ones.
He kept encouraging her to buy those tops which looked good on her.
She left happily with 12 tops and 2 footwear.
My sister shared with me that one lady wanted to buy my poly knee-length dress for $8 and kept asking her boyfriend if she could buy.
Boyfriend tak jawab-jawab ni! and she had to pujuk!
Oh my god!
Be a woman and whip out that 8 bucks if you like it!
Why wait for a man to agree to an $8 expenditure?
Anyway, that aside, this is one item up for grabs.
I'm not selling it at the car boot because of the price range.
