Ladies!!!

I just needed to do this shout-out..

I received emails and smses of ladies who love my Mulberry. Thank you!
Surprisingly, some even like it more than the Fendi.
Me being me, I brought it to work the very next day.

It was drizzling and I have never been the petty girl who would bring an umbrella to work. The tudung is good enough to protect me from falling sick. So anyway, I 'braved' through the drizzle with my Mulberry.

Nothing happen to me but truly something grave happened to my Mulberry bag that I got so upset.

There are water spots on my Mulberry!!!
I thought just like many other leather bags I have, the water spots would go away after a couple of hours.

Almost 2 weeks passed now and I got dead worried so I brought it down to the Mulberry store in Singapore and was just about to blow my head.
But apparently I didn't, though I was all ready to do so. The manager was so nice and explained to me all I needed to know.

Mulberry bags are pure leather which are not treated (which explains why it really smells so nice). So water-spotting is normal IF you don't spray the water-proofing on the bag. That spray cost another $39.

I don't mind paying as long as it is worth the paying. But the thing is we were not told by the salesgirl in the UK Mulberry boutique!!!

I'm not going to bear responsibility for this. I think the staffs should keep their customers well-informed especially when it comes to leather maintenance.
Anyway, how were we supposed to know that there is such a thing as a water-proof spray when they don't even display it.

I'm writing in to Mulberry and seeking for an exchange.

But the good thing is that, every Mulberry is unique, based on the way you handle it since it is pure leather.

Reminder:
Always purchase the water-proofing spray alongside with your Mulberry bag especially if it is OAK COLOUR as stains are more visible.

Else you will be the next one in line having a bag like this:

Well, I know leather product are timeless pieces (or at least that would be what I keep telling myself when I buy bags). Leather bags mature and that will be when it look at its best.

Anyway, it would just mean that in time I can put in diapers, milk bottles and little feets' spare tops & dresses inside.
Good buy kan!

*lol*
