The truth about me today is that I am getting too exhausted that I am falling sick.
But I blame myself for overworking and underestimating my energy, juggling the stress at work and Her Closet.
Moreover it has been very hectic with getting my suppliers to send in new stocks and designs for the exhibition, liaising with them on payment and delivery dates.
I stayed up till 3am on Tuesday night.
Spent the last two hours talking to dad, sis and mom (apparently I am killing off more of my family time)
That's right.
Mathematically me and Mon were working our arse off coming up and labelling model numbers on our stocks, taking pictures of the latest collection and loading the pictures on the web.
Even that we only finish 2/3 of it.
I took a day off from Her Closet yesterday but will come back for reviews in a couple of days.
The latest collection of garments are quite tricky because the long shirts are of country styles and checkered in nature.
So Lil' Sis and Mon told me to model it off in order to help our ladies to give an idea on how to mix and match them with the head dress and pants.
I need to regain my energy again.
I am not complaining of tiring out because I enjoy what I am doing.
Passion for fashion.
*lol*
Plus this weekend, I need to ensure that all my shipment is in and stock-taking is done before we kick off the sales exhibition on Thursday morning.
*faints*
I have to admit that I had underestimated the manpower needed for my passion.
Lucky I had my girls helping me with the logistics. I mean we are really starting from scratch. I didn't think how we needed to transport things over, daily stock-taking, daily unpacking and repacking, sale prices and offers.
It is interesting but definitely energy-draining.
I do my best to extend out to the customers and checking for daily orders. Alhamdulillah, the sales are ongoing and despite that I am far from recovering my cost, esp with the new shipments, I am glad that I could extend out to what the Muslimahs are looking for.
What tire me out even more was that Dad had guests from the Philippines over the weekend (coming this weekend will be from Indonesia... pengsan la aku)and we had to entertain them over dinners and on Sunday, me and Lil' Sis had to bring their daughter(a yr younger than Lil' Sis) out and she was shopping like crazy.
Dinner:
We were only shopping half crazy - I swear!
Anyway, it was a week where I had so many things!
First, my 2 girls (Ef and Mon) bought me a Nine West bag for my oh-so-belated-birthday-yang-macam-celebration-tak-habis-habis
And I helped myself to a Gucci wallet.
Thing was that I was contemplating to get another wallet.
Maklum.. ikut petua orang tua. Kalau tukar beg duit slalu, duit tak masuk.
But it has been 5 years that I used my DKNY wallet. Though tak buruk, the canvas has quite seasoned out (or so is my excuse this time)
Anyway, the heart just opened to get this wallet. Like suddenly so cantik.
Haiz...
Apparently Gucci salesgirl at Paragon suck!
When I asked to see the wallet, she opened the showcase glass door, passed me the wallet and start tapping her finger.
No, I didn't buy just because I felt challenged.
Apparent I just fell in love with it at first sight and never spend so much on a small item plus I swore that I would never get myself a Gucci cos I think it is overpriced and overrated , I contemplated whether or not to spend.
Lil' Sis helped me make the decision.
Anyway, it was almost nothing la. I went out with only a tiny Gucci paper bag while mom went out with one that can cover my backside!
*lol*
Anyway, here are our pictures from the outing yang so memenatkan sampai kaki tak bleh angkat layan budak ni.
*lol*
The daughter is a Chinese filipino.
Gorgeous isn't she?
Anyway, them (daughter & cousins) coming from a well-to-do background, me and Lil' Sis got them to take the train from Somerset to Bugis.
Then, we dragged them to eat at Tong Seng.
Hahaha!
They were sweating like mad la..
*lol*
After that we went shopping at Bugis market where we know they could get good buys.
Anyway, they just pick and pay.
Me and Lil' Sis went to the same shop over and over again, contemplating whether to make the purchase or not.
And there she was,"I think we have been here"
-_-
*lol*
Ok I am having a headache and laughing a lot.
Well, here goes... Our shopping Thriller
Bugis Street
I'm seriously pooped out now. Worse, only by thinking that I have clothes to iron for tomorrow, plus I need to shower.
But guess what!?!
Yes! I updated Her Closet with accessories this time around.
*smiles*
Go check it out!
