Are you Gangnam-ing yet?

I was having lunch (alone) earlier and reading the Business Times in the pantry.
Yeah, I always love lunches alone. It has been a practice since about 5 years already. Not pathetic but I just love (big LOVE) the time to myself and a break from work.

I have always like Business Times compared to the Straits Times. Plus, it is a good way to keep up with the business trends and some lifestyle news at the same time.

So while I was flipping, I was stunned to see that Gangnam hit more than 8.2 million views beating Baby.

I was like,"What the hell is baby..?"
Turns out it was Baby by Justin Bieber. Part of me was relieved that Justin is out of the picture. You know how overrated that little boy is and how his break up crushed hearts of many little girls, of which they are back again I read recently. (ok what is new with Hollywood)

I cannot understand Justin's hair and hair flips just like how I cannot understand how Kristen Stewart keeps combing her hair back with her fingers during TV interviews.

Honestly, just like how I cannot understand myself for I keep picking out flat shoes whenever I go out, which is making me utterly disgusted of myself.

Back when I saw Gangnam, I wanted to puke. How can this fat idiot with shades and the stupid dance made it to fame.

It.was.stupid.period.

Then I saw people at Best Denki gathering around a huge TV watching the music video. And then it replayed. And replayed. And guess what?
No one moved! In fact there were more people gathering around.

I was shamelessly one of them.

Then it struck me that indeed it was catchy. Better than 'Baby' I swear.
Though I had to admit that during my engagement days, my then fiancé had that ringtone customized to my number (faints!)

Plus I found the Gangnam video very funny.
Oh well, that fat idiot with shades and the stupid dance is definitely enjoying a thicker pocket and private banking privilege unlike us.

I was just talking about this fella to my husband a few weeks back and mentioned that if we have gotten married at this era, we would have dance down the aisle doing the Gangnam Style.

It feels good doing something stupid and laughing it off.
Very anti-stress moments.
