I rarely blog at this hour on a weekday.
Of course la!! It is the only time that I could catch up on my sleep and get some rest.

8.30am and was rudely interrupted by the body system screaming wanting to head to the loo.
So I forced myself up so that I could get better sleep till 1pm.

It was all in vain!! For I was interrupted again!!!
This time I had to literally get up and do things.
Worse was, I had to hold myself back from swearing because I am fasting.

Gosh!! I am resting for God's sake!!
What the hell getting me out of bed at 9.15am on a Sunday morning!

Plus, I was working my ass off doing the housechores the day before.
Woke up at 1pm and was working through the house non-stop till 12 hours later.
My dad asked,"Besok raya eh? Abis macam nak overnight ajer."
He is the only one to be telling me to rest, I think he risau seeing his Gem not sitting down.

3 more days to go before Raya and I was fretting so much about my baju raya that was terribly tailored (I can so curse and swear cos the material costed me $240)that my head almost burst.
And because of that, I forgot all about my head dress for Raya.

I have been advised by many people not to go for my facials as I had initially blogged and I took it as a sign not to.
Luck was on my side that the facial appointments are full.
Now still need to get my haircut.
Polls suggested that I look better with long hair.
So I am planning to keep the length but layer them to define the waves.

I hate last minute things.
I have made so much effort to clear up as much work but I guess last minute things are inevitable.
Mom wants to buy new cushions and curtains for my room.
I am not used to having a very elaborate room cos I never planned to since I am still solo..
Of course I am going to make my master bedroom a love haven but till then, as long as the bed is clean, I have no qualms.

If you could recall, this was my room before I revamped it last year.

Ok that was the time, I don't even know which are the clean and dirty laundry.
All I need to do is pick up the clothes, smell 'em. If it smells of perfume, chuck them into the laundry and have it washed.
Otherwise for clothes which smells of detergent.
Teruk kan!!
But hey, I survived!

Then last year, I took so much pride to a facelift and a room makeover.
All done by myself. From the decor to the paint colour and getting everything in from zero to wa-laa!!

So last year the room was much better and cleaner.

p/s: under the bed, there are about 8 to 10 boxes all filled with bags!!

This year, I will get the pictures up once the curtains are in.

So now that Ramadhan have nearing to an end, truth is I have not stepped into Geylang!
Not even once!
Probably I am trying to curb my diet and not get tempted to swallow those oily foods down my throat.

Mom puts me on a diet throughout Ramadhan and I think she will keep nagging about my weight even thereafter.
I get only an egg, 2 slices of bread and a bowl of yoghurt with orange juice.
Buka is a scoop of rice with unlimited side dishes that isn't oily.
Almost a 30-day affair now.
I don't think I lost much especially now the metabolism rate is really slowing down despite me doing activities.
Mom told me to be like Lil' Sis! But she has the advantage of height! I mean she stands 1.7m and being 5cm shorter, it is really a vast difference.

This is a fair picture since both of us are wearing flats.

Back when I graduated from secondary school, I weigh merely 48kg.
My relatives call me 'Oliver' (popeye's gf) saying I will get blown by the wind.
After 10 yrs, I packed 10kg, I probably have to starve or go cold turkey on food to get back my old weight.

Also probably I am curbing my spending for the month for the fact that the pocket will surely burn.
My mom has 18 siblings, 100 nephews and nieces (probably more) and approximately 20 grand nieces and nephews.
Dad's side is not too bad. Probably just half of mom's.
So can you just imagine now!

They will all come to my place like a typhoon and leave like one also except for a few.
Sometimes you wonder why they came.
I always complain but dad always tell me it doesnt matter. I wonder where he gets his patience from.

Anyway, I had iftar with Sue last Friday.
The only iftar I had outside home during the month of Ramadhan and just when I thought I wanted to lantak as much as I could, I ended up not having much appetite that we broke fast only having sandwich and coffee at Coffee Bean at Wheelock.

As usual, we had a good long talk and I am very happy seeing Sue as where she is today.
But apart from that, we both discussed on Hani's wedding.
Apparently, we had to get up the guest list for her to invite those who were with us during HP days.
Getting each addresses and send the invitation cards out.

During a phone call, Hani said she had no usher for the dinner and requested me and Sue to tayang muka, look pretty and get the guests in.
It will be quite hirok pikok I think cos we have to usher, entertain our ex-colleagues and finally a speech.
I hope I get to eat - hahaha!

Knowing Sue, I asked her if she had something to wear for the 3 occasions (nikah, dinner & Sunday event). Obviously no!
I successfully make her panic and I am sure she will whip up something.
Knowing Sue, she is damn bochap la ok!
So if you don't say such things to her, she will not bother to get anything done.

So it the hen's party that we were planning for Hani which is less than a month away.

Hotel room - booked.
Games - set.
Pending to get the logistics and food for the party which I bet will tire me and Sue by the time the party ends.

Now, just a glimpse of the plans (I am kinda excited too)

Location: Swissotel, The Stamford
Date: 25th Oct 2008
Time: 5pm to whenever-guests-feel-like-going-back
Theme: Kinky Nighties
Rating: 18 years and above - ALL GIRLS ONLY!

Bride's costume to be sponsored by guests.

Now I have to get the guest list up for the hen's party and get them to dress up or down, whichever they prefer.
Organisers ie me and Sue don't get to take part in games, which is 'phew!!'
Nevertherless, we are going to make it fun!

I need to get Hani's approval to be able to bring her sister in. I know she is in Seconday School and definitely below 18. Die larrrrh... how to explain like that!

Well, other than that, the bride-to-be don't have a say plus she wouldn't know what will go on on the day itself.
*evil laugh*

For now, I think I might just head back to bed and lay down.
