Salam lebaran everyone!!

I did enjoy my time during the weekend celebration of Hari Raya despite my high-heeled shoes killing my feet & trying to get comfortable in a baju kurung until my ketiak melelas!!

Oh gawd!

It was just my luck la that there were so many people wearing purple this year on the first day of raya. Asal toleh ajer, nampak colour purple!


Lovie is cute as usual.
"Love, what you wearing?"
"Purple," he said.
"Purple macam mana punya purple?"
"Purple lah"
"How you know?" I asked.
"Tailor cakap"

I was very simple in comparison to mom and lil' sis.. hahaha.. which I have been so year in, year out.

Looking at the possiblity that it is my last year beraya being single, we tried to capture every moment we could as konang-konangan

Our yearly raya routine.
Mintak maaf with my parents. In order from the eldest to the youngest, mom first then dad. Now we both are working, salam la duit skali sambil mintak mahap! hehehe.. sejuk hati mak abah...







After dah meleleh-leleh air mata, we left the house doing our routine visiting. This year we visited less houses but we stayed longer in each house which I did enjoy myself.

You know what was the sweetest thing my aunty told me. She said her son has been practising his silat ever since we told him that we would want him to perform silat on my wedding.

So he did a small demo













The most touching thing was that dad told him to keep practising. He said,"Bila tepuk tangan tu biar kuat-kuat"

The next hype was at my granduncle's place where all my aunties(mommy's cousins) come together.
Every year we will all meet there and so kecoh!!!

Babies will start crying cos it is so stuffy.
All of us will be sweating but nevertheless, we enjoyed every moments of it.

They will have their yearly cousin photos.
This is the bed which we will take our photos every year.








And the cousins who grew up together have their own share too..
Yes.. there are many memories growing up with Ayie & Shikin.
That time was fun.
Abang would pair with Ayie & me with Shikin.

The ladies were posing and there were 5 guys in front taking our photos. So tak tau mana camera nak tengok!

You really can't imagine all this aunties, reaching their 50s running on the bed wanting to have their photos taken.

And it was really so kecoh
You can hear them telling their husbands,"Yang.. make sure muka I cantik ok! yang lain you jangan peduli!"

They simply never fail to make me smile.
Me and my sis really enjoyed their company.
The minute they see us, they will be jumping and say,"Kakak Intan! Kakak Ein!"
They will hug you and tell you how much they miss you... *melt*

That night, my family rushed to my aunty's place right before midnight. Most of us were there.
At the strike of 12, all of us surprised Ayie with a birthday song..

And birthday boy was so touched that he teared!

I sat with the aunties and gossiped.
It was so much fun. We talked about maids and their kids. We even talked about boops, which so used to be a taboo!
ahahahah...

At 2am, the kids are mostly tired








The guys may have already slept at the balcony.
The ladies were still highly energised.

At the gate, one of my aunties said,"Best kan buat gathering macam gini. Ngobrol-ngobrol....What is the next occasion eh?"

She answered herself,"Laki aku punya birthday buat kat sini.."

Then she laughed saying,"Kesian laki aku punya birthday, dia jaga anak, kita enjoy"


Told you my aunties were cute!


By the time I tucked into bed it was almost 5am!

Day 2 was fabulous too.
Woke up 5 hrs later telling mom & dad that I was craving for Mac'Donald's!!!!

Mac'Donald's???????????


yes! Mac'Donald's!!!!!!!!


And they fulfilled my wish!

Yes.. we berjalan with them again the following day.













The jalan-jalan hasn't ended.

But I am back at work today cos I have a lot to clear.

But definitely more to come!

And no, I am not cancelling my engagement.
I pulled a blog stunt cos I didnt want a big hoo-haa when I meet my relatives.
I wanted to avoid being probed.
You know how it could be...
